Set out on your own pulpy journey and make recycled paper from paper waste!
A mould & deckle is the two piece papermaking tool (essentially a screen and frame) used to form each sheet during the paper making process, and our dodgy A6 starter frame is expertly made by the Pulp Professor enabling you to make your own recycled ( dodgy ) sheets.
When I first started making paper I used an A6 mould and deckle for around 6 months, making hundreds of small sheets from my paper waste. This is when I became obsessed with the process and I experimented with techniques before moving on to larger sizes.
The A6 Starter kit includes:
A6 Mould and deckle : 100% hand made by the Pulp Professor from Australian Hardwood and stainless steel mesh
Transfer Material : 3 x recycled acetate transfer sheets
There are many different materials you can use for transferring and drying each sheet of paper you make. Ideas and options are outlined in the instruction booklet.
